A businessman who repeatedly raped his minor daughter for three years was sent to 14 days judicial custody by a local court in Gurgaon on Friday afternoon.The accused, whose companies' annual turnover is Rs.1,200 crore, was arrested on Thursday after his daughter lodged a complaint of sexual assault in the Sushant Lok police station.
The police registered a case against the accused father under Sections 376 and 502 of the IPC. The police also conducted a medical examination of the victim in civil hospital where doctors confirmed rape.
The police wanted the father's custody for a day, however, the court sent him to jail for 14 days.
According to the victim's statement, the accused had first time raped her when she was 13. The father, in his early 40s was sexually abusing her since then. He often planned vacations and took his daughter along with him.
