Apr 03, 2013 (LBO) - Rajendra Theagarajah, managing director and chief executive officer of Hatton National Bank will retire from June 20, to be replaced by deputy chief executive Jonathan Alles.
HNB said in stock exchange filing that he will also resign from the board of director of the bank. Subject to central bank approval, Alles would take over from July 01.
Alles has been in banking for 25 years most of it at HSBC group in Sri Lanka and abroad. He had also been at HNB from 2002 to 2005. He was chief operating officer from 2010.
