The ‘Vipakshaye Virodaya’ yesterday (14) met the Elections Commissioner at his office in Rajagiriya and requested him to obtain the services of polls monitors from Commonwealth countries for the Northern Provincial Council elections and to appoint a civilian as governor of the province so as to facilitate the holding of a free and fair election.
