Cyber criminals stole an undisclosed amount of money from the salary accounts of up to 30 Mumbai Police officials, reports said on Friday. The salaries were deposited in Axis Bank.
The money was withdrawn from various ATMs in foreign locations as euros, a police official was quoted as saying.
The bank reported the theft to the police on Friday and is conducting an internal probe to track the funds
