The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) probing the abduction and the killing of a prominent businessman at Bambalapitiya last month, has questioned four police officers, including DIG Vass Gunawardena.


 Sources told The Island that investigators had also recorded statements from two police constables and one Sub Inspector. Responding to a query, sources said that the CID questioned the DIG on the basis of information elicited from the other personnel under investigation.
